Holy Communion
In addition to the weekly worship activities, Holy Communion is served the first Sunday of the month in both services. The table of Holy Communion is Christ’s table, not the table of the United Methodist Church or of the local congregation. The invitation to participate in Holy Communion is open to anyone who seeks to respond to Christ’s love and seeks to lead a new life of peace and love. Children are welcome. It is up to the parents to decide when their child will begin receiving communion.
Children’s Church
Following the opening activities in each of the worship services, children ages 4 through first grade are invited to join the adult leader as they travel to the Jungle Room for Children’s Church. Children’s Church includes Bible stories, crafts, games, and fun. If the parents prefer, children are also always welcome to stay with their parents throughout the worship service.
Nursery
A nursery, for infants through 3 years, is available during both worship services. For more information on our nursery, see the Childrens' page. If the parents prefer, children are also always welcome to stay with their parents throughout the worship service.
