KIC After School Program

The After School Program of the church is called K.I.C. (Kids In Church) and K.I.C. Jr.
K.I.C. is for grades 4 and 5 and meets on Monday.
K.I.C. Jr. is for grades 1, 2, and 3 and meets on Tuesday.

All children in the community  grades 1 through 5 are invited to join us for a time of learningChild to follow Jesus in their daily lives through friendships, snacks, Bible stories, crafts, music, drama and games in the safe place of the  Christian Life Center. Our staff includes adults and youth who nurture, lead and teach about the good news of the gospel. There is no charge to attend the program.  School bus transportation directly from Simpson Elementary and Lincoln Elementary to church is available.  The program ends at 4:30.

Registration

Registration is required.  Registration packets are available at the church office.  An information sheet and registration forms are also available in the resources section of this website.  If your child is interested in attending, please send the registration information to the church office. Before sending your child to the after school program, be sure that you have received confirmation that the church has received your registration forms and knows the date your child plans to begin participating.  The After School Program follows the Simpson County School calendar.  When school is not in session on Monday, K.I.C. and K.I.C. Jr. both meet on Tuesday.

Cancellations

Please remember to call the church office (270)586-5152 if your child is registered but will not attend the after school program on a particular day.  This is important for the safety of your child!

SPECIAL NOTE: Parents of 4th & 5th Graders
This 2009-10 season there will be five “Community Learning” days, and two holidays falling on Monday.  When we are out of school on Mondays, your child is welcome to come to the Tuesday program with the younger ones.  Your child would ride the school bus (#3508) just as they do on Mondays.  The bus permission slip is written to cover Monday and /or Tuesday.

We realize that not everyone will want to come on Tuesday, but thought that this invitation was the best way to have more children attend more often!  We want them here as often as possible!
